Therefore, the height of the taller building is the sum of the height of the smaller building and upper part of the taller building.

tan 53 = x / 10

cross multiply

x = 10 tan 53

x = 10 × 1.32704482162

x = 13.2704482162

x = 13.3 m

tan 28 = y / 10

y = 10 tan 28

y = 5.31709431661

y = 5.3

Therefore, the height of the taller building is 13.3 + 5.3 = 18.6 meters.
