<h3>What is Confucianism?</h3>

This refers to the philosophical, social and political doctrine developed in China that was based on the teaching of Confucius and his principal followers such as Mencius.

The founder of the Confucius philosophy is known as Kong zi who was  born in the state of Lu and mostly held minor posts in and around Lu but never became the main adviser to a ruler.

Because of this, Kong Zi gave up serving in office and became a teacher of his developed philosophies.
