Can someone help me with these answers please
andre [41]

since we were given the key ( how it should be sort out or used )

then we get all the numbers out which are:

21, 23, 30, 32, 32, 35, 43, 44, 46, 48, 49, 49, 50, 52, 52, 53, 55

then we go ahead to answer the questions:

a) Range = highest number minus Lowest number

55 - 21 = 34

b) 17 (by counting all individual ages ).

c) Median = the middle age

(but before that, we must arrange the ages either a cording to their sizes either from biggest to smallest (descending order) or from smallest to biggest (ascending order)

so we arrange in ascending order but the numbers are already arranged so we don't have to stress ourselves:

Median = 46 (the number in the middle ).

Hope you ace your tests, Good luck ✅.

Two cars leave towns 600 kilometers apart at the same time and travel toard each other. One car's rate is 18 kilometers per hour
Brut [27]

Answer:

Rate = 91 km/hr

Step-by-step explanation:

In this question, Rate = Speed

Speed (s) = Distance (d) / time (t)

Distance = 600 km

Time = 3 hrs for both cars

Speed for car A = x

Speed for car B = (18+x)

Distance traveled for car A = x* 3

Distance traveled for car B = (18+x)* 3

Remember that the total distance traveled = 600 km

3x + 3*(18+x) = 600

3x + 54 + 3x = 600

6x = 600 - 54 = 546

x = 546/6 = 91

Speed of the slower car is 91 km/hr.

In the year 2009, a company made $8.4 million in profit. For each consecutive year
Elenna [48]

Answer:

$10.8 million or 10,752,000

Step-by-step explanation:

14% of 8,400,000 is 1,176,000

t = time in years

In one year, the company would make 8,400,000+(t*1,176,000)

In 2 years they make 8,400,000+(2*1,176,000) = 10,752,000

now round 10,752,000 to the nearest hundred thousand, which is 1/10 of 1,000,000.
