When Amir and Baba departed Afghanistan in 1981, he finds out that Rahim Khan had been residing in Baba's home there ever since. He took care of it because Baba was going to be back someday.

The purported monster is the subject of the dream, and the characters show bravery, camaraderie, and leadership by working as a team to convince others that it is safe to swim in the lake. When they should be starting the competition and Amir is hesitating, Hassan reassures him, "There's no monster, only a lovely day."

Rahim Khan acknowledges that his own loneliness was the main driver behind his hunt for Hassan. Rahim Khan drove to Hazarajat to look for Hassan after learning of Baba's passing and asked him to accompany him to Kabul. Rahim Khan finds out that Hassan is a married man with a child on the way. Rahim Khan vanishes as a result of lying to Amir about an American couple who would take in and care for Sohrab, Hassan's kid, once he arrived in the country. Rahim Khan was aware that Amir would discover the falsehood and bring the kid to him if and when Amir returned with Sohrab.

4. Discuss factors that reduce helping behavior. Also explain the effects of being helped, including the phenomenon of helping b
Ad libitum [116K]

The correct answers to these open questions are the following.

The factors that reduce helping behavior are the negative of the people who are offered the help and the improper circumstances to help others. The effects of being helped are that we can lend a helping hand to the ones in need. We feel that we are doing the right thing when we can help others. And the help is unconditional when we know that the other people have no ways to return the favor or the help.

However, sometimes the phenomenon of helping behavior induces negative reactions. The factors that lead to negative reactions among people being helped are, for instance, that they could always expect to be helped and we limit their own capacity to thrive. If people are always expecting altruism form others, they get used to and instead of making an effort or work hard, they prefer to be victims and expect other people to have compassion and also to help them.

Explanation:

Bribery is an act which describes a situation in which an individual or group of people involved, are offering some form of items of value, particularly money, in an exchange to get something done, most specifically, something that the person offering the bribe is not deserve to get on merit.

On the other hand, Extortion is an act that describes a situation whereby, an individual or person that is receiving an item of value to carry out work, coerced, force or place the giver under duress to pay some items of value, before he could carry out the work, that is expected of him under normal circumstances.

Therefore, the most significant difference between Bribery and Extortion is in the person who initiates the undue influence. If the giver initiates the giving of money or items of value to get things done, it is considered BRIBERY.  On the other hand, if it is the receiver of the items of value or money, is the one that initiates the undue influence, then it is referred as EXTORTION.

Grease Payment on the other hand, is when the initiator gives the receiver some items of value or money to fasten the work that should be done, that is, if under normal circumstances, the job done will take 3 days, but with the money paid, then the smae job get done in a day, that is considered as GREASE PAYMENT.

Perhaps the most single valuable authority you have as president in this way is to issue an executive order, which can commit troops to a conflict for a limited about of time without Congressional approval. Tools of foreign policy would include sending in diplomats to try to negotiate peaceful terms.
