What was the conversation atticus has with his brother Jack in Chapter 9 about how to answer a child's question.?
LenKa [72]

Answer:

The conversation of Atticus and Uncle Jack revolves round Uncle Jack's admission that he will never get married and how he never understood children. Atticus tells him about the pros and cons of educating a child, the need to be truthful despite the circumstances which will only lead to the child learning about the reality of life.

Explanation:

Chapter 9 of Harper Lee's "To Kill A Mockingbird" revolves round the Christmas scene of the Finches where the whole family including Uncle Jack had gone to visit Aunt Alexandria and Francis. It was also the scene where Scout fought with Francis for calling Atticus a <em>"ni__er-lover",</em> which resulted in the scolding of Scout by Uncle Jack.

Later that night, when Uncle Jack and Atticus were discussing about the events of the day and Scout's impact on him, Atticus simply states that <em>"When a child asks you something, answer him, ...... Children are children, but they can spot an evasion quicker than  adults, and evasion simply muddles ‘em"</em>. This suggests that Atticus believes in putting the reality to a child's answers, instead of shrouding it with some lies. It s better for children to learn and adapt to things soon, rather than being shielded from the reality of the world.

Is hydrochloric acid reacts with sodium hydroxide to produce a salt water and heat a physical change?
asambeis [7]

Answer:No the change that occurs is not a physical change but a chemical change.

Explanation:

By definition of a physical change it is a change that does not alter's the chemical composition of a mixture or a substance, while as in a chemical change the compound that is formed by mixing 2 substances has a composition that is different from the initial compounds that were mixed to obtain the compound.

While as when we mix hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide a new compound known as sodium chloride is formed with a chemical composition that is different from either hydrochloric acid or sodium hydroxide thus the change that occurs upon mixing is a chemical change and not a physical change.

                                                                                      90 Aba Owerri Road,

                                                                                      Aba.

                                                                                      February 14, 2021.

The Principal,

Universal Model School,

Aba.

     Sir,

                       IMPORTANT OBSERVATIONS ABOUT THE SCHOOL

It is with a great sense of urgency that I write this letter to you sir. I must sincerely commend your efforts towards sanitizing our school. The school have indeed taken a new shape since the inception of your administration.

However, there are a few areas I want to draw your attention to. I have observed with dismay that many students do not come to school early. Lateness have risen to an all time high in the past few months. This is not good for the image of our school. I implore you to do all that you can to ensure punctuality among students.

Secondly, many students no longer appear in the complete school uniform. I have noticed that quite a number of students no longer wear the school tie. This is incomplete dressing and a mark of indiscipline which should be vehemently discouraged.

On the part of the teachers, I must commend their punctuality and regularity to classes. This is quite unlike what was obtainable before your arrival. Teachers now come to class when it is their lesson period and the level of teacher absenteeism has greatly reduced. This should be encouraged.

I hope my observations will be considered for appropriate action.

                                                                                              Yours Faithfully,

                                                                                               Chinonso Njoku
