Based on historical records and information, many labor unions were formed during the late 19th and early 20th centuries due to poor working conditions which resulted in many premature deaths of workers.

<h3>What is the Taft-Hartley Act?</h3>

The Taft-Hartley Act can be defined as a Labor Management Relations Act which was enacted by the the 80th United States Congress to restrict the activities and power of labor unions in the United States of America.

However, President Harry S. Truman initially vetoed and argued that the Taft-Hartley Act was dangerous because it limited the power of of labor unions in the United States of America.
