The factors that led to urbanization during the new industrial age were-

  • Population Growth- Industrial settlements in the cities required a large number of workforces in cities. The major workforce came from the countryside.
  • Infrastructural and Social Services- when a large number of the population migrated from rural to urban areas. Building housing and Sanitation facilities were very important because without that it might lead to ridiculous conditions of cities.
  • These were the two important reasons for urbanization in the New Industrial Age around the world of which effects are still prevalent today in this 21st century, that mark a important event in our history.
