The 2-thumb– encircling hands technique is recommended when CPR is provided by 2 rescuers.

What is 2-thumb– encircling hands technique?

The 2-thumb–encircling arms method is usually recommended whilst CPR is supplied with the aid of using 2 rescuers. Encircle the infant's chest with each arms; unfold your arms across the thorax, and location your thumbs collectively over the decrease 1/3 of the sternum. Forcefully compress the sternum together along with your thumbs.

For an infant, lone rescuers (whether or not lay rescuers or healthcare carriers) must compress the sternum with 2 arms positioned simply under the intermammary line. Do now no longer compress over the xiphoid or ribs. Rescuers must compress at the least one 1/3 the intensity of the chest, or approximately four cm (1.five inches).

For a child, lay rescuers and healthcare carriers must compress the decrease 1/2 of of the sternum at the least one 1/3 of the AP measurement of the chest or about five cm (2 inches) with the heel of one or 2 arms. Do now no longer press at the xiphoid or the ribs. There aren't any any records to decide if the 1- or 2-hand approach produces higher compressions and higher outcome (Class IIb, LOE C).

Should high school diploma say college preparatory
algol13
College prep is generally a different program than HS (However I did attend a college prep high school so it was a combined effort but I transferred so I never graduated with a college prep diploma) high school is general education while college prep is literally preparation for college, so no? I think a diploma should remain a diploma, and college preparatory should remain college prep. You get a different diploma from graduating from a college preparatory program that is ultimately better for college bound students than a general diploma

As José walked to school with Tony, he saw Tony's notebook in his backpack. José rushed back into his house to retrieve his own
Leokris [45]

Answer:

The answer is working memory.

Explanation:

This type of memory relies on short-term memories that can be manipulated later in time. The main difference between working and short-term is that the former allows information to be processed in the future, while the latter simply stores it (and deletes it shortly after).

Looking at Tony's notebook activated José's spatial working memory, which stores visual information. The image of his own notebook came to mind and he run back home to take it.

Olenka [21]

Answer:

The days were cold and harsh, with little food and rain dampening the moods of everyone on the ship. Lots of people were passing on to the heavens because of diseases. I myself have so far been lucky enough to stay in good form, but others such as Little John, have not had the same luck as me. Little John had broken down in smallpox, and was still recovering in the infirmary down below. He also had scurvy from not getting enough Vitamin C. Captain says that we will reach the new world at least 10 days from now, but even 10 days are become unbearable. I have nothing else to do on this ship but record the passing days in my dearest diary. Father and mother would have gone on the ship with me, but they had to stay behind to maintain the family business. I can only hope that they are doing well, and I pray to god every night that they have good health and days. This is my first entry so far, and more are sure to come.
