The arguments against an active role for government states that people should have their independent right to make their own decisions and the government should not control that aspect of people’s life. The arguments in favor of an active role of government say that government intervention is the best way to accomplish goals in society. An active role of government helps the public to access several free services

An active government is responsible for providing services that individuals cannot afford for themselves such as military defense, fire and police, education, environmental protection, social services, and so on. It also helps in limiting the power of monopoly and also helps in regulations on worker life. Most of all it ensures equality for all.

The cons of an active government include the disincentive effects of the welfare programs and worker rights. Government ownership may also lead to fewer choices and result in poor information and time lag.

kirill [66]

Answer:

B. leaders can learn a lot about themselves in how they are perceived by others

Explanation:

The behavioral approach allows leaders to recognize the environment around them and how that environment interferes with their behavior, through external stimuli that have the ability to shape the behavior of the leader in relation to work and the team. This behavior can change the quality of work and leadership. Therefore, by using a behavioral approach, the leader can improve stimuli that promote better behavior and avoid stimuli that decrease behavior. In this way, the leader stimulates the work and learns about himself and about the way he is seen by his team.
