Transportation, which is a part of this spatial order, is both impacted by geography and has an effect on it at the same time. This happens because of the way that space is organized.

For example, the economic and physical characteristics of an area may have an impact on the route that a road takes, but after the road is built, those same characteristics can have an impact on how the region develops in the future.

This will be discussed in further detail below.

What exactly is meant by the term "technical innovations"?

In most cases, the idea of innovation has been expanded to include technological innovation.

Even though innovation is a very well-defined notion, many individuals have a very different view of what it means to them.

This is particularly true in the academic and corporate communities.

To sum everything up, Transportation is impacted by technological innovations as technological innovations have made transport means a major landmark.

Why did the struggle for equal rights intensify after World War II?
likoan [24]
During WWll, with white men fighting overseas, African Americans were able to get better job opportunities, and a new law passed saying that blacks and whites had to be in integrated units in the army. But, when the war ended and black soldiers returned to America they weren't greeted with a hero's welcome and instead were treated like all other blacks- they were forced to be segregated. This change from almost equality to none at all really fired up the Civil Rights Movement in the 1950's and 1960's.

Thee forms of nationalism, from the list:

political

ethnic

religious

Geography can play a role in the formation of nations. But when we speak of types of nationalism, we generally refer to ideas around which a nationalist feeling is based.

Ethnic nationalism focuses on shared ethnic identity, seen in common language, racial group, etc.

Political nationalism focuses on loyalty to the political state in which one resides--to its ideology and political system. In its formation, the United States served as an example of this form of nationalism, uniting around a shared idea.

Cultural nationalism (not listed above) sits between ethnic and political nationalism, incorporating features of both. It focuses on shared traditions within a country. Though it may have some connection to ethnic commonality, the greater emphasis is on shared experience and national traditions.

Religious nationalism sees a connection between a particular religious identity and national identity. A Muslim nation that operates under Sharia law would be an example. The United States can also be an example if/when people describe the US as "a Christian nation" and see patriotism aligning with principles of the Christian religion.
