The loss of the muscle protein is after the casting of the broken arm is considered a type of reaction known as Catabolic.

What is a Catabolic?

It refers to the overall chemical or enzymatic reactions involved in the breakdown of organic or inorganic materials such as proteins, sugars, fatty acids etc.

The catabolism of amino acids generally involves the removal of the amino group which is followed by the breakdown of the resulting carbon skeleton. In difference to other amino acids, the BCAAs are metabolized primarily by the peripheral tissues rather than by the liver.

Therefore, loss of the muscle protein is after the casting of the broken arm is considered a type of reaction known as Catabolic.

jek_recluse [69]

This research states that incarceration doesn't reform a criminal. He has spent almost half his life in prison but the time there didn't reform him, he continues to commit crimes. He is probably never going to be a law-abiding citizen by now, if he most likely hasn't finished high school, never had a real job nor could get one with his prison record.

The research doesn't explain neither why he started committing crimes, if it was because he has some form of mental illness, or perhaps because of a poor upbring and background, the lack of hard-working role models. If the reasons of why he started committing crimes were treated, maybe he would stop doing so.

What fundamentally motivated the new American engagement with China and Japan in the 1840s and 1850s? Were the treaties negotiat
balandron [24]

Answer:

It was the intention of Americans to tap into the Asia's rich market. However, because of Britain control over some parts of China after winning the Opium War, they were at loggerheads with America. American merchants went ahead to establish trade concession with China because they feared that Britain might gain total control of China. Because there was an interest in commerce, secured privileges and vital rights, and no colonies from Caleb Cushing, the United States were given all trading terms that were given to other powers. This did not enhance their cultural exchange with China because their intention was to threaten cultural integrity with the opium that was entering China at the time and the missionaries.

On the other hand, Perry agreed to allowing the United States to form coaling rights, consular relations, and very good treatment for sailors that had their ship wrecked. This was to allow for commercial trade. This was the beginning of modernization and industrialization in Japan.
