Ear infections are because by bacteria and viruses. regularly, ear contamination starts after a chilly or other respiratory infection. The bacteria or virus travel into the center ear thru the eustachian tube (there is one in each ear). This tube connects the center ear to the return of the throat.

commonly, ear infections last fewer than 3 days, however, they are able to persist for as much as a week. youngsters younger than 6 months who have a fever or different ear contamination signs and symptoms have to see a physician. seek scientific attention if your infant has a fever better than 102°F (39°C) or extreme ear ache.
