Verbs are words that indicate some type of action, feeling or existence in a sentence. They give the information about what the subject is doing.

The Cambridge Dictionary describes a transitive verb as the kind of verb that requires “having or needing an object.” These can be changed into passive voice.

Merriam-Webster Dictionary describes an intransitive verb as the kind of verb that is “characterised by not having or containing a direct object.” These verbs do not form a passive voice.

He went farther than the wound to repare a torn blood vessel and stich up the pericardium (a fluid-filled bag that surrounds the hart). He cleaned up the wound after put back the man`s muscle and bones, and stitched up the torn skin. The surgery was completed and (Name of the man?) successfully recovered. 100 POINTS!! Identify one way in which the work of de Sacy, Akerblad, and Young was similar.
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

One of the French experts, Sylvestre de Sacy, started with the proper names in the Greek passage and tried to find their equivalents in the demotic version. He believed that, after he’d singled out the names, he would be able to identify the demotic letters in each of them. With these letters in hand, he could then go on to translate other names and words in the demotic passage.
