Suzie notices that she always sees red cars pulled over getting tickets and wonders if red cars really do get more tickets than

other colored cars. Suzie does some research and finds that in the past year in her town, there have been 72 tickets given to people who drive red cars, 39 tickets to those who drive yellow cars and 10 for those who drive green cars. Graph her results and give a conclusion of the results.

Given the information presented in this question, we can come to the conclusion that red cars in the town where Suzie lives do in fact get more tickets than other colored cars.

What does this information tell us?

With this data gathered during the experiment that Suzie performed, we can come to the conclusion that the hypothesis presented by Suzie is corroborated by the data. Suzie's experiment showed that 72 out of the total 121 cars that received tickets in the past year were red. This means that nearly 60% of all tickets issued in the last year were issued to red cars. In order to fully prove the hypothesis, the experiment should be repeated multiple times and the data gathered should be compared and reviewed. So meanwhile, we can only say that the hypothesis is corroborated by the data present.

So in conclusion, Suzie showed through her experiment that red cars in the town where Suzie lives do in fact get more tickets than other colored cars. This data can be presented using a bar graph.

The presence of a specific trait is genetically inherited. There are only two possible outcomes for this trait: An individual ei
Igoryamba

Answer:

D) Each parent contributes one allele for this trait

Explanation:

All traits of individuals are determined by specific genes of that trait. For example, there is a certain gene for height, certain gene for eye color, face shape etc.

Genes are the units of hereditary, and for every trait there is one gene in every organism. However, one gene is present in two alternative forms called alleles in an organism. For example: There is a trait height, a person has two alleles for the height gene, one allele is for short height, and other allele is for tall height. The trait of tallness is dominant over the trait of shortness, Therefore, this person will have tall height.

Now the alleles are transmitted from parents to offspring. Every parent contributes one allele for a specific trait, in the process and transmit it to offspring.

The allele which will be dominant will be expressed while the one that is recessive will e suppressed.

Therefore, option D is the right answer.

Hope it helps!

1.) What gives water all its properties? 2.) What type of bond joins H2O to another H2O and forms cohesion? 3.) What property of
Yuri [45]

Answer:

1. polarity

2. hydrogen bonding

3. High heat capacity

4. Adhesion

5. polarity

6. surface tension

7. high heat vaporization

8. hydrogen bonds form a rigid and stable network

9. Water is a polar substance and fat is a nonpolar substance.

10. Cohesion

Explanation:

Water is a polar molecule that is held together by hydrogen bonds to form strong cohesive forces. This accounts for the surface tension in water. Surface tension is the force acting on water that it makes to behave like a stretched elastic skin.

The polarity of water accounts for the fact that it is found in several parts of the body where it largely plays the role of a polar solvent.

High heat capacity of water enables it to function well in the area of thermoregulation in the body. High heat vaporization accounts for the fact that water helps maintain extreme temperature changes in an area.

When in solid state, the hydrogen bonded network in water becomes rigid and forms a very stable network of water molecules. Being polar, water does not interact with fat because like dissolves like.

In plants, the attachment of water to plant roots is known as adhesion and is necessary for the capillary movement of nutrients to plants via the root.
