X=2.08

To solve you need to first get x by itself. To do that you want to subtract 6 from both sides (get 6 away from x and put on other side) which will leave you with -5.2=-2.5x next isolate x by dividing -2.5 on both sides to then get 2.08=x

Answer:

BEDMAS

Step-by-step explanation:

The order of operations for any and every equation is BEDMAS:

Brackets - none exist here

Exponents - none exist here

Division/Multiplication - "2.5x"

Addition/Subtraction - "+6-2.5x"

When isolating a variable, order of operations is reversed:

Addition/Subtraction:

Move +6 to the left side by subtracting it:

5.2 = -2.5x

Division/Multiplication:

Divide "-2.5x" by -2.5 to isolate x:

x = 5.2/-2.5

x = 2.08

A cookie factory uses 1 1/5 bags of flour in each batch of cookies. the factory used 7 1/5 bags of flour yesterday. how many bat
shtirl [24]

Hello!

To find how much batches of cookies the factory made, we need to divide the total number of bags of flour used by how many bags of flour are needed for one batch of cookies.

Before dividing, we need to convert the complex fraction into an improper fraction.

1 1/5 → 5 × 1 + 1 = 6/5

7 1/5 → 5 × 7 + 1 = 36/5

For every batch of cookies, the factory uses 6/5 bags of flour. Yesterday, the factory used 36/5 bags of flour.

Remember when dividing by a fraction, it is like multiplying its reciprocal. This means that the second fraction is flipped, then which it can be multiplied together.

\frac{36}{5} / \frac{6}{5} → \frac{36}{5} * \frac{5}{6} = \frac{180}{30} = 6

Therefore, the cookie factory made 6 batches of cookies yesterday.

Write an<br> explicit formula for<br> then<br> th<br> an.<br> term of the sequence 45, 15,5. ....
7nadin3 [17]

Answer:

The sequence above is a geometric sequence

For an nth in a geometric sequence

u(n) = a {r}^{n - 1}

where n is the number of terms

a is the first term

r is the common ratio

From the question

a = 45

r = 15 / 45

The explicit formula for the sequence is

U(n) = 45(1/3)^n-1

Hope this helps you

I need help with this question... phenobarbital elixir contains 2 grams in 1 liter of elixir. How many milligrams of phenobarbit
posledela

To solve this problem, all we need is the conversion factor.

We know that there are:

1 liter = 202.884 teaspoons

Therefore the mass of Phenobarbital is:

mass = (2 grams / 1 Liter) * (1 teaspoon) * (1 Liter / 202.884 teaspoons)

<span>mass = 0.00986 g = 9.86 x 10^-3 g = 9.86 mg</span>
