The author's decision to set much of the story on a school bus symbolizes the boys' monotony of the boys' lives.

The given question is based on the story 'Not the Same Old' by B. McSwain. The story starts surrounded by two kids taking bus routes in each day. They usually takes school bus to go and come back home from school. One of the boys says that it is same everyday in their neighborhood. They find it boring that nothing special happens in their everyday life.

Analyzing this situation too, we can conclude that the author decided to set much of the story on the school bus to show the monotony in the boys' lives. It symbolizes the regularity in the boys' lives.

A. a photograph of elephants in a forest is your best answer choice.

Note that the report is about "<em>wild elephants</em>".

Using images of taming elephants or any pictures (or drawings) by humans generally don't give a wild vibe to it.

Not B, because it would seem that the elephant had interaction with the human.

Not C, because the "wild" part of the elephant is gone already (the elephant being tamed by humans and used for exhibition)

Not D, because the word "taming" is in there.

In the story it’s a good life, what POV is it written in?
solniwko [45]

It's A Good Life is a story by Jerome Bixby.

It is definitely written in Third Person point of view, as the narrator talks about other characters, without him being in the story (First Person) and is not talking to someone who is in the story (Second Person).

It's not too clear if it should be cataloged as Third Person Omniscient or Third Person Limited Point of View, as the narrator seems to have more access to Anthony's thoughts and actions than to any other character (Limited Point of View).

However, Anthony has superhuman powers and can read everyone else's minds, so the narrator states some of their emotions and reactions (Omniscient) but without too much detail.
