Sasha's belief most clearly illustrates an external locus of control.

Sasha's belief that studying is useless because the questions on college tests are so unrelated to course work. This type of thinking implies that she has an external locus of control. She doesn't believe that studying makes tests easier rather she assumes that studying is useless.

A person with an external locus of control doesn't believe that their actions make changes but only will believe in fate or luck. External locus of control is a psychological condition in which a person believes on external factors making things happen. People with such personalities does not accept that success comes from the hard work.

Here Sasha shows such a personality.
