Four positive task-oriented traits are

(1) intelligence,

(2) consciousness,

(3) openness to experience, and

(4) emotional stability

What is emotional stability?

Emotional stability (the polar opposite of neuroticism) may be a fundamental personality trait associated with remaining calm in the face of challenges and threats.

Emotional stability allows an individual to develop an integrated and balanced perspective on life's problems. This organizational ability and structured perception aid within the development of reality-based thinking, judgment, and evaluation skills.

If someone consistently keeps their commitments, whether it's delivering work on time, exposure to events they've said they'll attend, or participating in group sports, this is often a good sign of emotional stability.

Time value An Iowa state savings bond can be converted to $750 at maturity 5 years from purchase. If the state bonds are to be
Elden [556K]

Answer:

$78.35

Explanation:

Given:

Future value = $750

Maturity time = 5 years

Annual rate = 5%

Now,

Future value = P × ( 1 + r )ⁿ

Where, P is the present value of the bonds

r is the rate of interest

n is number of periods

on substituting the values, we get

$100 = P × ( 1 + 5% )⁵

or

$100 = P × ( 1.05 )⁵

or

P = $78.35

Hence, the state should sell its bond at a price of $78.35

Oil Wells offers 5.65 percent coupon bonds with semiannual payments and a yield to maturity of 6.94 percent. The bonds mature in
Lorico [155]

Answer:

$826.95

Explanation:

To determine the price of Oil Wells' bonds, we can use the following formula:

bond price = semiannual coupon x [(1 - {1 / [1 + (maturity yield / 2)](years × 2)}) / (.0694 / 2)] + face value / [1 + (maturity yield / 2)](years × 2)

Bond price = $28.25 × [(1 - {1 / [1 + (.0694 / 2)](7 × 2)}) / (.0694 / 2)] +       $1,000 / [1 + (.0694 / 2)](7 × 2)

Bond price = $757,92 + $69.03 = $826.95

You just ended a meeting with Ming (one of your six employees), who gave you some disturbing information. She feels she is being
Ksju [112]

Answer:Do you think Ming is correct in saying Mindy is bullying her?

Yes , she is right, Mindy is definitely bullying her.

What are the indications of bullying?

Bullying doesn't only occur physically but also psychologically and and emotionally, especially in a place of work it can de identified by mistreatment of the other person, verbal abuse , threatening and humiliating the other person.

The bullied person is outcastes , alienated , excluded and ignored like what Mindy is doing, ignoring Ming while he greet everyone else , excluding her by not inviting her in a farewell lunch , eventhough all other colleagues are invited by Mindy.

Spreading false rumours is also part of bullying .

He also critized her publicly by publicly sharing an email about a loss of a client caused by Ming .

These are all signs of abuse.

What advice would you give to Ming?

She will need to keep record or document everything so that when she decides to take the matter further , she may be able to submit proof of what has been happening to her, this will give evidence.

How would you handle this situation with Mindy, without embarrassing Ming?

I think talking to Mindy in an objective way without including Ming's name will be helpful since Mindy has publicly shared his bullying activities. I can actual point out things that are not allowed at work and how certain things can be harmful and degrading to other employees. Make him see how certain behavior affects other employees and how this can be a serious issue that can affect the company and affects even Mindy himself .
