The resulting value of the function when the values of t is 2 and 6 are 3.5 and 6.5 respectively

<h3>Function and values</h3>

Functions are expressions in form of variables. Given the following quadratic equation expressed as:

f(t) = 0.25t^2 − 0.5t + 3.5

We can find the equivalent value of the function when the value of t a re 2 and 6.

If the value of t is 2. hence;

f(2) =  0.25(2)^2 − 0.5(2) + 3.5

f(2) = 1 - 1 + 3.5

f(2) = 3.5

If the value of t is 6, hence;

f(6) = 0.25(6)^2 − 0.5(6) + 3.5

f(6) = 9 - 3 + 3.5

f(6) = 6.5

Hence the resulting value of the function when the values of t is 2 and 6 are 3.5 and 6.5 respectively

F(x) = 2x+1/×-1 find the inverse function
denis23 [38]
To factor this, start by replacing x with y and then solve for y
f(x) = \frac{2x+1}{x - 1}
x = \frac{2y+1}{y - 1}
(y-1)x = \frac{2y+1}{y - 1} * (y-1)
(y-1)x = 2y+1
xy -x = 2y+1
xy - 2y -x +x = 2y - 2y +x+1
xy - 2y = x+1
Factor out y on the left side.
\frac{xy - 2y}{y} = x+1
y(x - 2) = x+1
\frac{y(x - 2)}{(x-2)} = \frac{x+1}{x-2}
y = \frac{x+1}{x-2}
f(x)^{-1} = \frac{x+1}{x-2}

Calculate the distance between the points H=(-2, -5) and K=(-7, 1) in the coordinate plane.
Rzqust [24]

Answer:

d=\sqrt{61}

Step-by-step explanation:

The distance is given by the expressiond=\sqrt{(\Delta x)^2+(\Delta y)^2}= \sqrt{[(-2)-(-7)]^2+[(-5)-(1)]^2} = \sqrt{(-2+7)^2+(-5-1)^2}=\sqrt{(5)^2+(-6)^2}=\sqrt{(25+36)}=\sqrt {61}
