Answer:

John's third-person narration provides a more objective look at the narrator's mental decline. Even if the reader doesn't know John's thoughts, it's obvious that he feels medical care is appropriate. Considering things from his point of view would not only make the woman's insanity more complex but would also likely appeal to him to readers and lend a sense of tragedy to their doomed love tale.

What does it mean that the story is being told from the protagonist's point of view? The story's first-person point of view is crucial since it gives the reader a front-row seat to the narrator's spiral into madness. The reader is placed inside the narrator's mind from the start, rather than learning about her mental decline via an objective third-person narrator. Therefore, the tale is stronger and more unsettling because of it.

A thesis statement may be controversial.
myrzilka [38]
This is true. A thesis statement is you opinion. This means that not everyone will agree with your opinion. For example:
Smoking should be illegal because it is unhealthy, costly, and an annoyance.
Though you supported your opinion, someone who enjoys smoking may say that it is not costly or annoying. This is why a thesis statement is controversial.

We consider them the best astronauts in the world
Anarel [89]

Answer:

The correct answer is actually the best astronauts in the world.

Explanation:

An object complement follows a direct object with the purpose of renaming it or stating what it has become. Certain verbs commonly attract object complements, such as to consider, to call, to to create, to make, etc. It is important to remember that the object complement can be a noun, a pronoun, an adjective, or a phrase. Study the example below:

- We consider them intelligent.

"Them" is the direct object of "consider". It is followed by the adjective "intelligent", which functions as the object complement. Notice that the sentence we are supposed to analyze is similar:

- We consider them the best astronauts in the world.

This time, the object "them" has a whole phrase as its complement, "the best astronauts in the world". It's as if we are answering a question about the object. For the first sentence, what do we consider them? Intelligent. For the second one, what do we consider them? The best astronauts in the world.
