Acute leukemia cell lines show the greatest enhancement of chemotherapeutic activity.

What is acute leukemia?

 • It is a malignancy of the blood and bone marrow.
 • Without treatment, it advances quickly and mostly affects developing cells, which are unable to perform their usual roles.
 • A condition that may be challenging to treat.
 • Clinical studies for the treatment of acute leukemia are still studying by researchers.

Which shows the greatest enhancement of chemotherapeutic activity?

The control of differentiation in human myelogenous leukemia and, in a larger context, the controls of normal myeloid development can be studied using acute leukemia cell lines as model systems.

Acute leukemia 44 nM (CC95 alone) and 0.6 nM (CC95 Combination) show the highest fold enhancement comparing other cell lines.

Disclaimer: The question is incomplete on the portal. Here is the complete question.

Question: (CC95 alone) = treatment 2 alone

Acute leukemia → 44 nM (CC95 alone), 0.6 nM (CC95 Combination)

Fibrosarcoma → 86 μM (CC95 alone), 6.7 μM (CC95 Combination)

Cervical carcinoma → 53 μM (CC95 alone), 5.2 μM (CC95 Combination)

Noncancerous fibroblast → 15 μM (CC95 alone), 16 μM (CC95 Combination)

Compared to treatment with Compound 2 alone, which cell line shows the greatest enhancement of chemotherapeutic activity as a result of sensitization by Compound 1?

A.Acute leukemia

B.Fibrosarcoma

C.Cervical carcinoma

D.Noncancerous fibroblast

Which organelles would create a basic protein that could be modified to move chromatids during metaphase?
bija089 [108]

The organelles would create a basic protein that could be modified to move chromatids during metaphase is the histine protien which is secreted from the RNA's.

Explanation:

Histone protein is the protein that is associated with the chromosome. The chromatin fibres get condensed into chromosomes on these proteins.

The chromatin fibre i.e. the DNA fibre gets to wrap itself around the histone octamer which is formed of two units of each of Histone H2A H2B H3 and H4. Then the H1 protein seals the turn and thus a chromosome is formed. These histone are produced in the S-phase of the cell cycle. This protein is transcribed into m-RNA's and then translated into protein.
