A) Net A is correct. The right angles are at opposite ends of the same line. Not so in Net B..

B) AB = 3, BC = 5, CD = 8.6

C) The central rectangle has length 3+4+5 = 12, and width CD = 8.6. Its area is
.. Arect = (12 in)*(8.6 in) = 103.2 in^2

The two triangles ABC form a rectangle that is 3x4, so has area
.. Atriangles = (3 in)*(4 in) = 12 in^2

The total surface area is (103.2 +12) in^2 = 115.2 in^2.

A) Net A would be the correct net for the prism.

B) AB = 3in
BC = 5in
CD = 8.6in

C) area of one triangle : 4*3/2 = 6
But there's 2 triangles so 6*2 = 12cm2
Area of the middle square : 8.6*4 = 34.4cm2
Area of bottom square : 8.6*5 = 43cm2
Area of top rectangle : 8.6*3 = 25.8cm2

Finally add all of these areas together and you will get the surface area : 115.2cm

Can you answer these questions? Im doing them on my own but I need to check if they're right
BigorU [14]

Answer:

I got you.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. If x=5, whats (10x-5)+30:

First, (10x-5)

50-5=45

45+30=75

10x-5+30=75.

2.Inverse operations: 10+5 inverses 10-5, 10*5 inverses 10/5

3. I do: For example: 10x-5=60

Then, you would divide: 60/10 and 10/10

We need to isolate the variable: x-5=6

Leaving x to be 11.

4. That is a hard one but, for an equation to have no solution is that it is impossible to answer or just doesn't have an answer. And for an equation to have infinite solutions it means that it has more than one answer... Infinitely.

5. Using the distributive property for simplify: The distributive property of multiplication is a very useful property that lets you simplify expressions in which you are multiplying a number by a sum or difference. The property states that the product of a sum or difference, such as 6(5 – 2), is equal to the sum or difference of the products – in this case, 6(5) – 6(2).Remember that there are several ways to write multiplication. 3 x 6 = 3(6) = 3 •                          3 • (2 + 4) = 3 • 6 = 18.
