Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) is a private studies college based totally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The college is the result of a merger of the Carnegie Institute of generation and the Mellon Institute of commercial research. The predecessor become established in 1900 by way of Andrew Carnegie as the Carnegie Technical schools, and it have become the Carnegie Institute of an era in 1912 and commenced granting 4-12 months levels.
