Overall the Islamic empires in the Indian subcontinent failed to covert the population to Islam.

Why are there Muslims in India and Pakistan?

There are Muslims in India and Pakistan thanks to the conquest of the Indian subcontinent by several Muslim empires with the most notable being the Mughal empire.

However, regardless of how much the empires tried, they were unable to convert the majority of the population to Islam as most of them remained Hindu.

Was President Roosevelt justified in ordering Executive Order 9066, which resulted in the internment of Japanese American citize
Lera25 [3.4K]

Answer:

Argument Detailing Roosevelt was not justified:

Roosevelt Put thousands of Japanese citizens of the US into Internment camps, initially ending Japanese freedom in the US. Now, I could see this as an act to prevent Japanese sabotage in the United states however, This act ended Japanese Business, Japanese dreams of success. This was effectively one of roosevelts worst descisions. Roosevelt justified the order on the area of military necessity, declaring that Japanese Americans were a threat to national security. This was not justified at all! How could every Japanese citizen collude with its government? I think that Roosevelt was blindsided by the suprise attack just like every american and treated the japanese nationality with hostility and disrespect!

Argument Detailing Roosevelt was Justified: He was very justified. We were talking peace with the Japanese before the pearl harbor attacks, trying to find a solution to our deteriorating relations, Thousands of american Sailors and marines died that day and the Japanese could attack from inside the US using Sabotage and spies, Many Japanese agreed with Imperialistic Japanese views! They believed Japan should be a Great empire with vast territory and a large army. The only way to stop an entire attack from inside the US was to put Japanese citizens in these internment camps!

Which statement describes an example of gerrymandering
MrMuchimi

Answer:

The option that best describes gerrymandering is Option C. Districts are drawn to make sure that they favor candidates from one political party.

Explanation:

The term gerrymandering is named after Elbridge Gerry, who signed a bill creating a partisan district so he could win as the Governor of Massachusetts in 1812. It is alleged that lawmakers use their power sometimes to redraw district lines against what are called "majority-minority districts." In elections, such districts where the minority is in the majority can affect election outcomes as minority group voters like African Americans or Hispanic Americans vote against the more conventional, status quo candidates and incumbents.
