It is false to say that once we reach the age of eighteen, we no longer experience the process of socialization, as this process is constant, starting in childhood and ending only in death.

What is socialization?

It is the process of exchanging learning about habits, culture, knowledge and beliefs shared by individuals in society. Primary socialization is where knowledge is passed on through the family institution.

Secondary socialization is learned through social experiences in different social institutions.

Therefore, socialization is a constant process, capable of transforming the individual's beliefs, thoughts and attitudes, being a process that helps in the formation of their personality and cognitive characteristics.
