The Mormon Trail is a trail line that stretches for  1,300-miles  route from Illinois to Utah. This trail was used by the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints traveled for 3 months.

 

   Today, the Mormon Trail is a part of the United States National Trails System, known as the Mormon Pioneer National Historic Trail.

This Trail is an integral part of the train system in the United states because of its strategic location.
