Many people are interested in studying their religion to strengthen their faith. Some people are searchers looking for something

in which to believe. Then, there are those who realize that to understand religion is to understand the political world we live in.
As a responsible person in today's world, you need to be aware of world affairs. Can you determine the difference between political and religious motivations? How do the similarities and differences impact your everyday life? Let's take Islam as an example. Islam is often in the news today with reports of jihad. But what does that word actually mean? The word means “fight against evil,” personal evil. So if you have struggles with any bad habits, you need to fight that evil in your life, a jihad. A secondary meaning is the struggle or war against those who would attack Islam. What is your personal jihad? Can your faith help you with that struggle?

Islam accepts Abraham and Jesus as prophets and believes we all worship the same one god. In the political world in which we live, is it possible that we have more in common that unites us and less that divides us?

What is intercropping vegetable farming?
DIA [1.3K]
Intercropping is a multiple cropping practice involving growing two or more crops in proximity. The most common goal of intercropping is to produce a greater yield on a given piece of land by making use of resources that would otherwise not be utilized by a single crop. Careful planning is required, taking into account the soil, climate, crops, and varieties. It is particularly important not to have crops competing with each other for physical space, nutrients, water, or sunlight. Examples of intercropping strategies are planting a deep-rooted crop with a shallow-rooted crop, or planting a tall crop with a shorter crop that requires partial shade. Inga alley cropping has been proposed as an alternative to the ecological destruction of slash-and-burn farming.
