Answer:

Because antibiotics kill off all bacteria they come across. This includes the helpful bacteria important to your health (especially those found in the digestive tract). Taking antibiotics every time you feel somewhat sick lowers your body's immune response because the helpful bacteria are also killed off before they have a chance to help improve your health.
