It is important for leaders to recognize obstacles because they let the leader know how to help followers. True

A leader is someone who inspires passion and motivation in his followers. A leader is someone who has a vision and a way to make it happen. A leader is someone who ensures that the team has the support and tools to achieve its goals.

Leaders help communicate the company's vision and mission to employees. This will provide guidance and help everyone identify the role that best fits their skills and experience. Through clear communication, leaders motivate subordinates to take action to achieve their goals.

Mcgregor published theory x and theory y over 30 years ago. do we still have theory x managers? why?
dexar [7]

There is no doubt in my mind that today, 30 years later, we still have Theory X managers. According with McGregor Theory X, managers tend to have a negative, pessimistic view of employees and display more coercive, autocratic leadership styles using external means of controls, such as threats and punishment.

What do you understand by theory of x managers?

Theory X managers frequently have a gloomy outlook on their workforce, assuming that they are naturally disengaged and disliking of their jobs. People are frequently motivated using a "carrot and stick" strategy, which can lead to repetitious work in firms run in this way.

Douglas McGregor developed the theories known as Theory X and Theory Y in 1960. These theories propose two aspects of human behavior at work, or, to put it another way, two opposing perspectives on people (employees): one is negative and is known as Theory X, and the other is positive and is known as Theory Y.

Think of a crisis that you have faced. Try to recall your reactions in each of the three major domains: feelings, thinking, and
leonid [27]

Haha, this will be fun

Let's see, when I was around 9 I had a painful accident, I was learning how to ride a bike and then...BOOM! I crashed into my sister, my sister was fine but my head was ble#ding, my left ankle was covered with blo#d, and the skin from my hands was peeled off and my thumb's nail was cracked, what caused this? Welling at the park I practiced boking at had a ton of Benches and unfortunately...I crashed onto one, I was rushed to the doctors and they said that everything was fine and would heal in a couple of weeks but the main problem was my ankle, somehow it got infected and I was in bed for 2 weeks! After that 2 weeks, I went back to the doctors and they said that I can walk but I can't run. after that accident, I never touched a bike ever again, as a 9-year-old, I thought I was going to die! What helped me cope? My parents bought me a bunch a toys and a dog, my sister(twin sister) also helped me recover by helping out mentally, I seriously thought that was going stir crazy since every time I ran for too long, my vision would go completely black for at least a soild 30 seconds. Ultimately, my family's love and care helped me recover.
