Answer:

The sign would be 784 ft. long.

Step-by-step explanation:

The sign would be painted across the total perimeter of the building.

- the distance across the front of the store is 294 feet

- the distance from the front to the back is one third of this distance = (1/3) × 294 = 98 ft.

The perimeter of a rectangular = 2(L + B)

L = length of the building = 294 ft.

B = Breadth of the building = 98 ft.

Perimeter of the chocolate factory that the Sign would be painted across = 2(294 + 98) = 784 ft.

Hope this Helps!!!

Answer: The sign would be 784 feet long.

Step-by-step explanation: The distance across the front of the store is given as 294 feet. We shall take this as the length L. Also the distance from the front to the back which is the width W, is one third of the length (294). One third of 294 is 294 divided by 3 which equals 98. So having known the L as 294 and the W as 98, the chocolate factory wants to paint a sign all the way around the walls of the factory, in other words, they want a sign to run along the entire perimeter of the building. The perimeter of a rectangle is given as;

Perimeter = 2(L + W)

Perimeter = 2(294 + 98)

Perimeter = 2(392)

Perimeter = 784

Therefore the sign would be 784 feet long

CUALES SON LOS GRADOS PARA HACER UNA GRAFICA DE PASTEL, CON LOS SIGUIENTES PORCENTAJES( 20%,50%,10%)
svlad2 [7]

Answer:

360° = 100%

Entonces, ¿a que grado corresponde el 50%? Planteamos la ecuación:

x = 50%

Si tomamos el cociente entre las ecuaciones:

x = 50% y  360° = 100%

obtenemos:

x/360° = 50%/100%

resolviendo para x, obtenemos:

x = (50%/100%)*360° = 0.5*360° = 180°

Para los otros porcentajes hacemos lo mismo.

Para el de 20% tenemos:

y = 20%

planteamos la ecuación:

y/360° = 20%/100%

y = 0.2*360° = 72°

Finalmente, para el de 10% tendremos:

z = 10%

planteando la ecuación como antes:

z/360° = 10%/100%

z = 0.1*360 = 36°

Asi, hemos encontrado los grados correspondientes para cada porcentaje.
