Pyruvate enters the intermembrane space via passing through the outer mitochondrial membrane (OMM) most likely using the VDAC (IMS). The MPC then moves pyruvate throughout the IMM.

What is Pyruvate dehydrogenase ?

The reaction between pyruvate and a lipoamide, which results in acetylated dihydrolipoamide and carbon dioxide, is catalysed by the enzyme pyruvate dehydrogenase. Thiamine pyrophosphate is a coenzyme needed for the conversion.

The pyruvate dehydrogenase complex changes the chemical pyruvate, which is created when carbohydrates are broken down, into the molecule acetyl CoA. The chain of chemical events that provide energy for cells must start with this conversion.

What is Mitochondria ?

The majority of eukaryotic creatures contain a double-membrane bound organelle known as a mitochondrion. Most of the cell's adenosine triphosphate, which is used as a source of chemical energy throughout the cell, is produced by mitochondria through aerobic respiration.

n200080 [17]

Answer:

The incidence of mid-digital hair will not change because it offers no selective advantage or disadvantage.

Explanation:

The traits of an organism are determined by the genes of an organism. In the given question, the trait is the hair growth on the middle digit or finger which is passed on to the generation but in some, it is expressed and in some, it is not.

This trait does not provide any benefit to the humans neither they are disadvantageous and thus is the neutral trait. Therefore, this trait will not change over time.

Thus, the selected option is correct.

What are the differences between animal cells and plant cells
katen-ka-za [31]

Answer:

Explanation:

A plant cell contains a large, singular vacuole that is used for storage and maintaining the shape of the cell. In contrast, animal cells have many, smaller vacuoles. Plant cells have a cell wall, as well as a cell membrane. In plants, the cell wall surrounds the cell membrane.
