In the professor Latilong activity, Longtitude and Latitude information were  given to help you find each artifact.

Latitude and Longitude, coordinate system by means of which the position or location of any place on earth's  surface can be determined and described. Latitude is a nonexistent line on a globe or map running from north or south of the equator. Whereas, Longitude is a measurement of location running east or west of the prime meridian at Greenwich.

Longitude is the amount of arc created by drawing a line from Earth's center to the intersection of the equator and the prime meridian and then another line from Earth's center to any point elsewhere on the equator. In Geographic latitude the arc subtended by the equatorial plane and the normal line can be drawn at a given point on earth's surface.

Which geological principle
joja [24]

Answer:

C. Principle of original horizontality

Explanation:

The Law of Original Horizontality suggests that all rock layers are originally laid down (deposited) horizontally and can later be deformed. This allows us to infer that something must have happened to the rocks to make them tilted.

In general, countries that were European colonies in the 1940s have __________.
Tom [10]

Answer: ...have obtained independence during post-war period (during 1950s, 1960s and 1970s).

Explanation: we have to include Dutch (Surinam for example), French (Algeria or Vietnam), Belgian (Kongo-Kinshassa) or Portuguese (Angola, Mozambique) colonies. This process included return of white-Europeans colonists back to Europe: the biggest return was that of Algerian French (Pieds-Noirs) and later (not so big) European whites from Portuguese territories (1974-1975-1976).
