10, 2+10=12x5=60 so when you have 2x5, which is 10, +_x5, you need to find a way to make it equal 50, so 10x5

I need to know how to solve this equation?
cestrela7 [59]
Your picture shows the first step: use the distributive property to eliminate parentheses.
  5*7 -5*x = 2*x -3
Now, you have an equation with a constant and an x-term on each side. I like to pick the x-term with the smallest (most-negative) coefficient and add its opposite to the equation.

Adding 5x, we have
  35 = 7x -3
Adding 3 will get the x-term on one side and the constant on the other
  38 = 7x
Now, we divide by the coefficient of x
  38/7 = x = 5 3/7

This is the correct answer, even though it is not an integer.

_____
Check
  5(7 -(5 3/7)) = 2(5 3/7) -3 . . . . substitute for x in the original equation
  5(1 4/7) = 10 6/7 -3 . . . . . . . . . evaluate the parentheses on the left, do the multiplication on the right
  5 20/7 = 7 6/7 . . . . . . . . . . . . do the multiplicaton on the left, the subtraction on the right
  5 +2 6/7 = 7 6/7 . . . . . . . . . . . rewrite 20/7, realize 5+2=7. true

I don’t understand the question
Anni [7]

Answer:

Try 31 degrees/ Hard to explain but try it

Step-by-step explanation: cause between angle a, c, b - and angle a, o , c - their is an intersect. on that intersect onside is 62 degrees and the other side is 118 degrees; now thats a 180 degrees angle cause the base of the intersect is straight. Now this intersect is connected to the obtuse angle of the bottom triangle which is 118 degrees. Knowing that you can figure out the other corners of the traingle. The last two acute angles of to be congruent.

Svetradugi [14.3K]

Answer:

173 days

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula for substantial presence test is;

SBT = (Total of number of days present in the current tax year) + (1/3)(number of days in the year that was before the tax year) + (1/6)(number of days in the year that was two years before the tax year)

From the question, present tax year is 2019 and number of days is 96 days.

Year before tax year is 2018 and number of days is 198 days

2 years before tax year is 2017 and number of days is 66 days.

Thus;

SBT = 96 + ((1/3)198) + ((1/6)66)

SBT = 173 days
