Your picture shows the first step: use the distributive property to eliminate parentheses.
  5*7 -5*x = 2*x -3
Now, you have an equation with a constant and an x-term on each side. I like to pick the x-term with the smallest (most-negative) coefficient and add its opposite to the equation.

Adding 5x, we have
  35 = 7x -3
Adding 3 will get the x-term on one side and the constant on the other
  38 = 7x
Now, we divide by the coefficient of x
  38/7 = x = 5 3/7

This is the correct answer, even though it is not an integer.

_____
Check
  5(7 -(5 3/7)) = 2(5 3/7) -3 . . . . substitute for x in the original equation
  5(1 4/7) = 10 6/7 -3 . . . . . . . . . evaluate the parentheses on the left, do the multiplication on the right
  5 20/7 = 7 6/7 . . . . . . . . . . . . do the multiplicaton on the left, the subtraction on the right
  5 +2 6/7 = 7 6/7 . . . . . . . . . . . rewrite 20/7, realize 5+2=7. true

Enter the expression N0e−λt, where N0 is N-naught (an N with a subscript zero) and λ is the lowercase Greek letter lambda.
Natali5045456 [20]
So the question tells to express the expression in your problem where N0 is N-naught and the symbol represent the lower case Greek letter lambda. So the best answer or expression would be that the lambda is the wavelength of the expression. I hope you are satisfied with my answer

Enter the coordinates of the vertices of r(180,0) and t(3,-2) (QRST) will give crown
Viktor [21]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

From the graph attached,

Coordinates of the vertices are,

Q(1, 3), R(3, -3), S(0, -2) and T(-2, 1)

Following the rule of translation by 3 units to the right and 2 units down T_{(3, -2)}

(x, y) → (x+3, y-2)

Q(1, 3) → Q''(4, 1)

R(3, -3) → R"(6, -5)

S(0, -2) → S"(3, -4)

T(-2, 1) → T"(1, -1)

Following rule r_{(180,\text{O})} (rotation of a point by 180° about the origin) will give the image points,

(x, y) → (-x, -y)

Q"(4, 1) → Q'(-4, -1)

R"(6, -5) → R'(-6, 5)

S"(3, -4) → S'(-3, 4)

T"(1, -1) → T'(-1, 1)

Answer:

181 units²

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's break up the polygon into 3 shapes

Step 1: Area of the left rectangle

4(7) = 28 units²

Step 2: Area of middle rectangle

9(13) = 117 units²

Step 3: Area of top square

6² = 36 units²

Step 4: Add them all up

28 + 117 + 36 = 181 units²
