Define Carbon Emission

When we discuss carbon emissions, we are mostly interested in carbon dioxide, or CO2. There are many ways that CO2 naturally escapes into the atmosphere. The exchange of carbon dioxide between the oceans and atmosphere is the main cause of natural carbon releases. Through the act of respiration, both plants and animals produce CO2 (breathe in oxygen, breathe out CO2). Additionally, soil organisms respire in order to make energy and release more CO2 into the atmosphere as a result of the decomposition of these plants and animals.

Most of these emissions are kept in check by nature, as it often is. Through photosynthesis, plants take in CO2, and oceans take in roughly as much CO2 as they emit.

The study of moral principles and the application of those principles to human life is called Ethics.

Ethics is the study and application of moral principles. Moral principles refer to the standards of right and wrong in a society. Moral principles not only help us evaluate the actions of people but also provide guidance on decisions and actions.

There are many ethical theories that have been formulated throughout history. The earliest ones are based on divine instructions, such as in the medieval ages.

Another is the deontological theory, which holds that ethical action is one that is based on the performance of one’s duty without regard to its consequences.Another is the consequentialist theory, which argues that it is the results of our actions that determine whether they are ethical or not.
