The final carrier of electrons from psi is ferredoxin which can then dispose of electrons to produce either ATP and NADPH. The linear photosynthetic electron transfer chain, the small soluble protein ferrodoxin transfer the electron to Fd: NADPH oxidareductase which then reduce NADP + to support C assimilation.

Ferredoxin containing protein which acts as the electron acceptor associated with photo-system in photosynthesis. It accepts an electron and is reduced, giving it the capacity to pass on those electron as a part of the electron transport process.

The NADPH is produced in final stage of electron transfer as ferredoxin transfers electron to ferredoxin- NADP+ oxidoreductas which reduce NADP+ to NADPH.
