It was true statement that many Americans were concerned about the growth of the Ku Klux Klan: the Document A provide evidence of this as the white dominated the group and they received order from the officials of the states.

What was the Ku Klux Klan group?

The Ku Klux Klan was a racist terrorist group that began in 1866 in Tennessee as an organization of Confederate veterans after the Civil war.

They became a resistance movement against radical Reconstruction in the South, seeking to intimidate blacks and restore white supremacy. The group carried out extreme violence and acts in Congress and a decision by the Supreme Court (United States v. Harris, 1882) went against the Klan even though it had mostly stopped operating because it had pretty much achieved its goal: white dominance in the South.

Therefore, it was true statement that many Americans were concerned about the growth of the Ku Klux Klan: the Document A provide evidence of this as the white dominated the group and they received order from the officials of the states.

In a self-checked, one-page essay, weigh whether there was a Reagan Revolution. Did the election of Reagan indicate a change in
photoshop1234 [79]

Although many of his movie roles and the persona he created for himself seemed to represent traditional values, Reagan’s rise to the presidency was an unusual transition from pop cultural significance to political success. Born and raised in the Midwest, he moved to California in 1937 to become a Hollywood actor. He also became a reserve officer in the U.S. Army that same year, but when the country entered World War II, he was excluded from active duty overseas because of poor eyesight and spent the war in the army’s First Motion Picture Unit. After the war, he resumed his film career; rose to leadership in the Screen Actors Guild, a Hollywood union; and became a spokesman for General Electric and the host of a television series that the company sponsored. As a young man, he identified politically as a liberal Democrat, but his distaste for communism, along with the influence of the social conservative values of his second wife, actress Nancy Davis, edged him closer to conservative Republicanism. By 1962, he had formally switched political parties, and in 1964, he actively campaigned for the Republican presidential nominee Barry Goldwater.

Why did constantine move the capital of rome to constantinople
TEA [102]
Constantinopole was more in the middle of the Empire than Rome at the time. Additionally, it can be argued that he felt that Rome was becoming unsuitable: corrupted by the fights among politicians and not stable (under threat of attacks from Germanic tribes): Constantinopole was safer and more stable at the time.
