The anterior pituitary gland creates follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).

The gonadotropins luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) stimulate the gonads, which are the testicles in men and the ovaries in women. Although they are necessary for reproduction, they are not vital for life.

Understanding the methods by which gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) action is mediated in the anterior pituitary has advanced significantly since the chemical discovery of GnRH in 1971. The intracerebral locations and methods of action of GnRH in the brain, in contrast, are rather poorly understood. Early studies of the distribution of GnRH in the central nervous system using immunohistochemistry, in conjunction with behavioral and electrophysiological tests, revealed that GnRH functioned as a neurotransmitter and may have been involved in the expression of reproductive behaviors.

<h3>What is Neurotoxin infusion ?</h3>

Neurotoxins, sometimes referred to as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin, are injectable treatments that momentarily block nerve receptors in the muscle, delaying the appearance of lines and wrinkles. They can be used to treat overactive bladders, excessive perspiration, tight muscles, and muscular spasms.

<h3>What is luteinizing hormone ?</h3>

The anterior pituitary gland's gonadotropic cells create luteinizing hormone. Gonadotropin-releasing hormone from the hypothalamus controls the synthesis of LH. An abrupt increase in LH causes ovulation and corpus luteum formation in females.

The hormone causes the ovaries to create oestradiol in females. A spike in luteinizing hormone occurs two weeks into a woman's cycle, causing the ovaries to release an egg during ovulation. Luteinizing hormone stimulates the corpus luteum, which generates progesterone to maintain the pregnancy if fertilization takes place.
