The meter of this poem is iambic pentameter.

What is a meter?

It should be mentioned that the fundamental rhythmic framework of a poem or a line of poetry is known as the meter. It is important to remember that many traditional verse forms specify a particular verse meter.

A line of verse with five iambs is referred to as having iambic pentameter (an iamb being one unstressed syllable followed by one stressed, such as "before"). It has served as a vital component of English poetry since the English Renaissance, when several poets began using it in their works.

In English, "feet," or clusters of syllables, are used to quantify rhythm. An "iamb," or short unstressed syllable followed by a greater stressed syllable, is a sort of foot used in iambic pentameter. Five iambic feet make up an iambic pentameter line, hence the name.

Therefore the meter of this poem is iambic pentameter.

Write an article to be published in a notional newspaper on why every school should have a library
coldgirl [10]

Answer:

The importance of school library can not be over emphasized. A library is an important source of knowledge to young minds in schools. It develops the important habit of reading among the students. Every school should have a library.

The school library plays a great role in the life of students by serving as the store house of knowledge. The importance of a library in a school cannot be over emphasized. While the role of the school library remains constant, its design, digital platform, strategies and tools could change as technology changes.

School libraries tend to have a positive impact on the classroom performance of the students. Having a library hour, students tend to read, and the reading habit will enhance the overall performance.

A library is a quiet oasis which can provide the required amount of silence for concentrating on preparing for the class.

Several research studies show that library can help the student improve their reading scores, concentration level, and also build a positive attitude towards learning. In other words, the weaker the library sources is the lowest the reading test scores of the students.

They teach students how to learn and help teachers drive student success. School librarians work with every student in the school, teaching them to think critically, providing the resources and support learners need in school and beyond, and nurturing their creativity.
