water’s high specific heat contributes to the moderation of temperature bodies of water can absorb tons of heat from the sun. when it gets colder outside, the water can warm the air, which makes a milder climate and stabilizes ocean temperatures. This is important to live because marine life has a favorable environment and keeps temperature fluctuations within limits that permit life.

The environment, objects, or conditions in which a person is surrounded. 2a: A complex of physical, chemical, and biological factors (climate, soil, organisms, etc.) that act on an organism or ecosystem group and ultimately determine its morphology and survival.

Environment means everything that surrounds us. They can be living (biological) or non-living (abiotic). It includes physical, chemical and other forces of nature. Organisms live in their environment. They constantly interact with it and adapt to the conditions of their environment.

The environment plays an important role in healthy living and the existence of life on earth. The earth is home to a wide variety of organisms, and we all depend on our environment for food, air, water, and other needs. Therefore, protecting and preserving our environment is important for each individual.

Wundt and others used a technique called ______, which involved describing in their own words and in as much detail as possible
Leno4ka [110]

(.) <u>Introspection</u>

Additionally, Wilhelm Wundt, a psychologist, is credited with creating the study method known as introspection. Wundt's method, which is also known as experimental self-observation, includes teaching people how to carefully and objectively evaluate the substance of their thoughts.

<h3>What is introspection?</h3>

Examining one's conscious thoughts and feelings is known as introspection. Introspection in psychology refers to the process of observing one's mental state, whilst in a spiritual setting, it may refer to the analysis of one's soul. In contrast to external observation, introspection is intimately tied to human self-reflection and self-discovery.

A person's own experience of the mind is unique because introspection typically grants privileged access to one's mental states, unmediated by outside sources of knowledge. Any number of mental states, including sensory, physiological, cognitive, emotional, and so on, can be identified through introspection.

Calculate the fractional saturation for hemoglobin when the partial pressure of oxygen is 72 mm Hgmm Hg. Assume hemoglobin is 50
kiruha [24]

Answer:

<em>0.964 or 96.4 %</em>

Explanation:

Hemoglobin is the red component of the red blood cell, it combines with oxygen to keep the body functional. The fractional saturation of hemoglobin is usually computed graphically but the hill equation gives a more specific value.

Calculations:

The hill equation can be expressed as;

Y_{O_{2} } =\frac{(P_{O_{2} })^{h}}{(P_{_{50} })^{h}+(P_{O_{2} })^{h}}

 Where Y_{O_{2} } is the fractional saturation of oxygen =?;

            P_{O_{2} } is the partial pressure of oxygen = 72 mm Hg;

           P_{_{50} is the partial pressure of oxygen when the hemoglobin is 50%

                 saturated  = 24 mm Hg and;

            h is the Hill coefficient = 3.

Substituting the values into the expression above we have;

Y_{O_{2} } =\frac{(72 mm Hg_{_{} })^{3}}{(24 mm Hg_{_{} })^{3}+(72 mm Hg_{_{} })^{3}}

Y_{O_{2} } = \frac{373248}{13824 + 373248}

Y_{O_{2} }  = \frac{373248}{387072}

Y_{O_{2} } = 0.964

Therefore the fractional saturation is 0.964 or 96.4 %(multiply by 100)
