The statement that could be true for the function h is; C) h(2) = 16

<h3>How to Interpret Domain and Range of a Function?</h3>

We are given that a function, h, has a domain of -3 ≤ x ≤ 11 and a range of 1 ≤ h(x) ≤ 25.

Now, domain is the set of input functions that make the function real while range is the set of all possible output functions from the input,

We are told that;

h(8) = 19 and h(-2) = 2

Now, let us analyze the options;

Option A; This is not true because we have already been told that h(8) = 19

Option B: h(-3) = -1; This is not true because from the interval given to s for the domain, the least value of the domain is 1.

Option C: h(2) = 16; This can be true because it meets the criteria of the range and domain intervals respectively.

Option D: h(13) = 18; This cannot be true because the maximum value of range from the interval is 11.

The missing options are;

A) h(8) = 21

B) h(-3) = -1

C) h(2) = 16

D) h(13) = 18

Two angles are supplementary. One angle
Shkiper50 [21]

The measures of both the angles are 163 degrees and 17 degrees

<h3><u>Solution:</u></h3>

Given that two angles are supplementary

Let one of the angle be "x"

Let the other angle be "y"

Two angles are supplementary when add up to 180 degrees

x + y = 180 ----- eqn 1

Given that One angle  measures 10 more than 9 times the other

x = 10 + 9y ----- eqn 2

Substitute eqn 2 in eqn 1

10 + 9y + y = 180

10 + 10y = 180

10y = 180 - 10

10y = 170

<h3>y = 17</h3>

Substitute y = 17 in eqn 2

x = 10 + 9(17)

x = 10 + 153

<h3>x = 163</h3>

Thus the measures of both the angles are 163 degrees and 17 degrees
