Answer:

Germinated grams are considered highly nutritive is the reason for this belief is given as follow;

Explanation:

The cotyledon of the seed, which is has starch in greater quantity and also has a high protein content, absorbs nutrients from the endosperm and becomes more nutrient-dense. Germinated green grams, sometimes referred to as mung beans  is a high-fibre and fat-free food. They are incredibly healthy and trying to fill because of their rich fiber content. Some advantages of sprouting green grams include boosting the immune system, increasing bone and cardiovascular health, and increasing vision. Due to its substantial nutritional value, notably in terms of proteins, vital nutrients and vitamins, and soluble fiber, pulses play a significant role in human nutrition. And including cereals, they are a necessary supplement and a foundation in diets.

A gene (gene X) undergoes a mutation which converts if from wild-type to mutant. Then a second mutation in the gene Y occurs whi
Tcecarenko [31]

Answer:

b. forward mutation, suppressor mutation

Explanation:

When the nucleotide sequence of an organism is altered, it is called as mutation. It can be caused by DNA damage or replication errors. In forward mutation, the wild type allele is converted to a mutant version such that the gene product is non functional or its not produced at all. Suppressor mutation is the second mutation which reverses the phenotypic effects of the previous mutation. This process is called as synthetic rescue.

Since here gene X was converted into a mutant form by the mutation, it had undergone forward mutation. When gene Y was mutated, the function of gene X was  restored which ultimately also restored the phenotype hence it is an example of suppressor mutation.
