Evidence that can be used to modify or refute what Stannard said about Columbus would be (D) examples of long-term benefits for people in Europe and Asia that resulted from the voyages by Columbus.

What did Stannard think of Columbus?

David Stannard thinks very lowly of Christopher Columbus as a result of the latter's crimes in North America which included the killing and mutilating of Native Americans.

David Stannard believed that the exploration of the Americas brought only long-term pain to Native Americans so a view that would refute this would have to show descriptions that Native Americans enjoyed some long term benefits thanks to Columbus.

How does examining perspective change the interpretation of the facts concerning the existence and tools of the Cold War
atroni [7]

Examining perspective is the process by which you take an event, a circumstance, or even a place and you evaluate them through examination of characteristics and even emotions and feelings generated in you. A perspective is precisely the way in which you interpret information around you depending on certain aspects like your culture, education, customs and traditions, among other things. In the case of the Cold War and what was used during it, as well as the events that took place, an examining perspective might affect the way that you perceive the events of this time period because it would lead you to understand in a different way what happened and the reasons behind it. So, for example, the circumstances of espionage that led to many confrontations during the Cold War between the U.S and Soviet Union. Culturally, and through education, we have been taught that espionage was wrong and brought many problems with it, not least of which might have been a nuclear confrontation. But through an examining perspective, you take much more than just what you can see, hear, touch and taste and you evaluate every aspect, and understand the when and the why of an event.

early encounters between american indians and european colonists led to a variety of relationships among the different cultures
loris [4]

The interactions and conflicts between Europeans and Native Americans in New England and the Spanish Southwest during the 17th century demonstrate how the relationship between American Indians and European colonists ultimately became antagonistic. This was primarily due to European expansion and intolerance of indigenous cultures, which prompted responses by the native populations.

While English settlers and Native Americans in the New England regions initially tried to coexist through trade and a common commitment to spirituality, the relationship quickly deteriorated due to sickness and other issues, which eventually resulted in the First Indian War.

The complete question is:

''What early encounters between American Indians and European colonists led to a variety of relationships among the different cultures?''
