Migration patterns affect women differently because there is still gender inequality reinforced by beliefs grounded in a patriarchal society that defines gender roles and generates fewer opportunities for women, such as lower job positions and wages.

To protect women from the negative effects of migration, such as forced, involuntary or voluntary migration and its problems related to violence and discrimination, it is necessary to create social awareness, through information and public policies to protect women's rights.

What is migration?

It is the displacement of a population from one place to another, influenced by internal characteristics such as prejudice, lack of work and wars, to find a place where citizens can develop socially and professionally and increase their quality of life.

Therefore, migration is related to gender inequality due to the fact that women gain fewer opportunities than men.

To what extent was imperial and colonial policy in the years 1857 to 1890 influenced by international pressures?
jek_recluse [69]

The imperial and colonial policy in the years 1857 to 1890 was influenced by international pressures mainly due to economic interests.

The word "colonial policy" refers to how the British manage the Empire, how they choose where to go, and what they do once they are there. The primary determinant of colonial policy was internal factors. The British were overtaken by the US, Germany, France, and Russia and were unable to assert their superiority. It required fresh revenue streams. Competitors changed the market climate as a result, and the necessity for new markers resulted in the creation of colonial policy.

Examples of internal pressures between 1857 and 1890 include the Germans' arrival in south-west Africa in 1884, which led to the annexation of Bechuanaland, and Berlin's participation in the Conference in 1884-85.

Compare how the warring countries conducted the war. In what ways were their (Axis & Allies) conducts similar and in what wa
lesya [120]

Answer:

While the Axis powers committed far worse war crimes that were more numerous than the allies, the allies including the U.K., France, United States, and Soviet Union were no stranger to these acts as well.

Explanation:

While the Axis have the Holocaust, and human experimentation by both Japan and Nazi Germany, the allies had several war crimes committed as well.

Some of these include the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan, firebombing of Dresden, and the Soviet treatment of German civilians and POWs throughout the war.

The only action that can really be justified in any way was the atomic bombs. It made Japan capitulate quickly rather than drawing out the conflict which some historians argue would have caused millions of more military and civilian casualties. It was an extremely violent, and brutal war. As are most.
