The four human practices that may lead to harmful effects on the environment are listed are disposing of garbage, Air Pollution, Unhygienic surroundings, and Noise pollution.

Incorrect rubbish disposal technique, pollution from factories, vehicles, and noise toxicity Four primary behaviors that cause harm are unhygienic environments.

The aforementioned issues are all brought on by humans and have a harmful impact on the ecosystem. However, there is another component to this, which is that things are controllable by people and may be reduced if there is a desire to do so.

There are numerous ways in which air pollution can harm trees and crops. Reduced development and survival of tree seedlings, decreased yields of agricultural crops and commercial forests, and increased vulnerability of plants to disease, pests, and other environmental pressures are all effects of ground-level ozone.

Elena-2011 [213]

Answer:I am for the "immediate, unconditional, and universal" enfranchisement of the black man, in every State in the Union. [Loud applause.] Without this, his liberty is a mockery; without this, you might as well almost retain the old name of slavery for his condition; for in fact, if he is not the slave of the individual master, he is the slave of society, and holds his liberty as a privilege, not as a right. He is at the mercy of the mob, and has no means of protecting himself.

How does the repetition of the phrase “without this” support the paragraph’s argument?

It reinforces the idea that without equality in the US, the idea of a free society is a joke.

It suggests that a free society is possible, with or without equal rights for all people.

It indicates that Douglass would be content without material possessions or status.

It proposes that slavery will not be abolished in the US without the support of all citizens.

What is the theme of book 1 chapter 4 of war of wolds
vampirchik [111]
<span>The narrator returns to Horsell Common to discover an even larger crowd, all pushing to be able to see the cylinder. All, that is, except for one poor guy who fell into the crater and is trying to push his way back out. (Which is always the way – the grass is always greener on the other side of the crater.)Then the cylinder opens, and out comes something that no one expects. The narrator admits that he expected something sort of like a man to emerge, but instead what comes out is snake-like tentacles and a body about the size of a bear and skin that glistens like "wet leather" (1.4.12, 1.4.14). (You can only imagine our facial contortions right now.)Everyone runs away from the Martian just because it looks horrible, what with its saliva-dripping, lipless mouth and big, luminous eyes. Oh, and tentacles. Can't forget the tentacles.Since all of the people have for cover (they've found places to hide and watch), the area by the crater is now a human-free zone, with just some horses and carts.<span>Oh, and remember the man who fell in the crater before? He's still down there. Dun dun dun!
