but plants are the ones who perform photosynthesis as well, because they meet all necessary criterias for it, that is : they have green leaves having chlorophyll in it, they can trap sunlight, absorb ${CO2}$ through Stomata and water through roots and hence perform photosynthesis to prepare food for themselves.
