Plants and Animals both need to perform cellular respiration as they need energy to carry out theirs life processes and they get energy in form of { (ATP)} by performing respiration.

but plants are the ones who perform photosynthesis as well, because they meet all necessary criterias for it, that is : they have green leaves having chlorophyll in it, they can trap sunlight, absorb {CO2} through Stomata and water through roots and hence perform photosynthesis to prepare food for themselves.

The majority of bacterial species on earth have not been successfully cultivated. true or False
Valentin [98]

Answer:

True

Explanation:

The bacterial cultivation refers to growing the bacterial species for exploitation or use. But the humans are not able to cultivate the majority of the bacterial species present which could be accounted for many reasons.

The bacteria can mutate very easily through the exchange of genetic material. Some bacterial species cannot be isolated.  New bacterial species are discovered in less period of time and some species fail to grow on the growth medium due to lack of information.  Till now only one percent of bacterial species have been cultivated.

Thus, true is correct.

What evidence must be considered when determining whether or not a trait is an adaptation
Rashid [163]

Answer:

An adaptation can be viewed as a trait that emerged and developed for a certain condition so as to increases the organism changes of survival or fitness.

For a trait to be called adaptive, it must have had a positive influence but not majorly a trait that develops in reaction to a certain selection pressure.

Categorically, a trait is seen as adaptation if it is the aftermath of selection, and adaptive if it is of favourable influence at the existing time.
