It is  extremely important to hear the testimonies of ancient non-christian witnesses regarding jesus' historical existence Because they have nothing to gain by telling the truth.

The gospel of John emphacizes the divinity of Jesus, the Verb that was in the beginning with God and became flesh, dweling among human race. Also the ministry of Jesus is explained, He came to his people and was rejected. The purpose of this gospel is that people believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. They that believe have eternal life and Salvation.

History showed that Jesus was born during the Roman period and not the Greek period. Hence, based on the map, the period in history that is relative to the birth of Jesus was about 500 years before.
