Answer:     Three games

Explanation:  Volleyball is a game that comes with three winning sets, where in each set you have to score 25 points, at least two points more than the opponents. Thus in one game can be played at most five, and at least three sets, whereby, if they play and the fifth set, it plays up to 15 points scored, also at least 2 points more than the opponents. In most competitions, the match between the two teams is played on three games won, which means a maximum of five games.

Why is the Electoral College considered "51 separate elections" instead of one national election?
Irina18 [472]

Answer:

Because each person does not actually vote for a president. When we vote for a candidate we are actually voting for a group of electors, to elect our president off of each states popular vote excluding Maine which does proportional voting.

Explanation:

Let's say you live in Kansas and electoral votes are based off of number of Congressmen/women which totals 6 2 senators and 4 reps which equals 6 electoral votes. A person voting in this state is voting either for 6 republican electors or democratic electors. When you vote for a candidate if that state goes republican those 6 GOP electors vote for the nominee that the state won. Washington D.C gets three electors even though it is not a state. So each state holds a separate elections since we all are voting for electors of the party you vote for. As well as D.C which that right was given to them in the 70s.

The scientific method is a method of procedure that has characterized natural science since the 17th century, consisting in systematic observation, measurement, and experiment, and the formulation, testing, and modification of hypotheses.
Like Bacon, the French philosopher René Descartes believed that a new science would lead to knowledge and inventions that would promote human welfare. Unlike Bacon, Descartes was a gifted mathematician, honored as the inventor of analytic geometry, and the advocate of a deductive, mathematical approach to the sciences.

How did archaeologists know that the mammoth found at Domebo had been killed as opposed to dying a natural death?
nika2105 [10]

The opinion of the archaeologists that the mammoth has been killed at Domebo is based on two things:

Weapons; on the site where the mammoth was found the archaeologists also found 4 projectile points, which had the purpose of killing big game animals, and they had markings that suggested that they were used.

Bone placement; the placement of the bones of the mammoth suggested that they were placed in a manner which was used when the flesh of the animals was sliced from their bones.
