I am taking a consumer math class to sharpen my financial skills in making educated decisions.

What is consumer math?

Consumer math is mathematics that uses basic math skills in real-life everyday situations.

Some real-life situations requiring consumer math abilities include shopping, calculating taxes, estimating the monthly budget, and calculating the interest rate for a loan.

Students taking consumer math classes can balance a checkbook, create a budget, buy a car or home, keep personal financial records, and pay taxes.

Thus, this consumer math course will enable me to make educated personal finance decisions.

You pick a card at random. Without putting the first card back, you pick a second card at random.
OleMash [197]
The probability of you picking 7 is 1/4 because there are 4 cards, and the probability of getting a card greater than 7 would be 2/3 (if you already picked 7) if not it would be 2/4, but I’m assuming it mean that you picked seven and now you’re trying to pick a higher card so i would go with 2/3
