Puberty can be described as the stage in the growing stage of an adolescence in which they attain maturity and begin to develop sex sexual characteristics.

Shawna started puberty at the age of seven and had her menses at the age of  eight and one-half years. Puberty usually happens between the age of 10-14 but Shawna started her development at an early ag. Hence the pubertal development is known as precocious puberty.
